Lewis & Clark County Library planned to launch its fundraising campaign for the new East Helena library at its annual donor appreciation reception on April 18.
Lewis & Clark hopes to raise $5 million to help fund construction of the new 11,000-square-foot facility, expected to cost around $8 million and be built next to the pool at John F. Kennedy Park.
“We hope to raise the funds through a series of contributions through the [Lewis & Clark Library] Foundation as well as grants from large scale non-profits, government entities, and corporate benefactors,” Lewis & Clark County Library Director John Finn told The Monitor in an email.
Finn said the library would soon launch a campaign website. For now, those interested in donating should visit the Library Foundation website: https://www.lclibfoundation.org/.
